A practice of craft

I pay attention to how someone moves, how they compensate, what feels natural and what doesn’t. We change with age, experience, injury, habits, stress and environment, so the practice changes too. Sometimes that means building strength. Sometimes it means working on range, coordination or finding another way in. I care about alignment and structure, but not at the expense of curiosity, joy or our own intelligence.

This is about constant learning and discerning: how you respond, what you need and how to work with it. That awareness doesn’t end with the session. How we move is part of how we inhabit our lives and the world around us.

Movement Rebel is an approach to training shaped by more than 20 years of experience. My practice moves across weight training, yoga, breathwork and meditation, but always begins with the person rather than the method.
